I've let my Standard Notes subscription run out as of late due to them being acquired by Proton. Sooner or later I hope they will fall under my Proton Premium plan. So in the meanwhile I’ve been trying other options.
Then I saw there is a plugin for Obsidian to post articles/long-form to Nostr. This is outstanding and solves a couple things. One, I never know which site is best for posting articles, leaving me to jump around a lot. Second, I want to backup my posts. Writing my posts in Obsidian and publishing from there gives me a backup and allows me to not even bother going to a browser to post. This saves me the whole cut and paste cycle.
I think this is the best I will get as far as efficiency. If anything changes I’ll be sure to post.
